Is there anything better than a pretty little flower that smiles and welcomes a new month?
Flower of the day – August 31, 2018 – Texas Sage
A low maintenance shrub with silvery gray-green leaves and bell-shaped purple blooms, it looks pretty both from a close angle as well as a distance. And when I spot an interesting flower I need to really get up close!
An interesting fact – these pretty flowers mostly bloom just before or following a shower!
