Redbubble

Some time ago my daughter and I opened a shop called Artsygals on Redbubble. For those of you who don’t know Redbubble is an online market that sells print-on-demand products based on the artist’s designs. It is a good starting point for any artist who wants to share their work with the world as well as make some money out of that (although that might take some time)!

So I invite you to visit our shop and have a look at some of our designs and artwork on a variety of products….

Cushion cover
Tote bag

The above two are examples of my floral watercolor art on products. The following two cacti designs are examples of my daughter’s artwork on products. She likes to work with watercolor, gouache, and acrylics mostly while I like to work with watercolors mostly.

I phone case
Water bottle.

Do stop by our shop and have a look at our work. Thank you!!!

Another watercolor collage

Here’s another watercolor collage that I started last year (December 2018) and completed this year (yesterday)!! How time flew by!

Next time I might add dates underneath each painting to make it a visual journal so that when I look back I get a better idea of the flow of life. After all, art is a reflection of our thoughts, ideas, and experiences – everything that makes up life. Isn’t that so?

Thank you

Take a Break!

#worldwatercolormonth #Doodlewash

Take a break….not just on a Sunday, but everyday even if it’s only for a couple of minutes to a half hour – to stretch your back, breathe or even meditate.

It’s so easy to get mired in the complexities of day to day life, to wander away into the meandering paths of social media world, to get bogged down by worries real or imagined.

Take a break every now and then, whenever you can. Get grounded into a warrior pose. Close your eyes just for a few seconds and let those ocular muscles relax….just for a bit!

Sometimes…..
