Growth as an artist

The inspiration to paint this came from an earlier and similar watercolor I’d done last year around the same time. So I decided to redo the older one with a fresh perspective! (If you scroll down all the way you’ll find it).

So here it is – a beautiful morning, the sun slowly rising behind the mountains, its rays lighting up the top of the mountains and the lavender fields!

And here’s the older version from last year. Sometimes I think it is a good exercise to redo an older piece of art or take inspiration from one. After completing the painting I could assess how much I had grown as an artist.
